Assignment Submission Guidelines
All assignments, labs, projects, and papers must be written utilizing PCI Writing Guidelines.
- Line 1 – Title of Writing/Assignment in Bold Print.
- Line 2 – Course name, dash, Student name
- Line 3 – Date of writing
- Paragraphs indented
- Lines of text double-spaced
- In-text citations require (Author or authors last name{s}) in parenthesis
- Leave a blank line/space between end of Main Body and References
- Title centered – References
- Multiple references listed alphabetically, flush left
- Reference information in this order:
- Author(s) last name(s), first initial. (Year of Publication). Book/Article Title.
- Volume #. Edition#. Publishing City for print references: Publisher or name of web site,
- URL if web-based.
Book Example:
Tice, L. & Pace, J.(2010). Thought Patterns for a Successful Career. Seattle WA: Pacific Institute.
Internet Article Example:
N.A. (2011).Plagiarism: What It is and How to Recognize and Avoid it. Bloomington IN: Indiana University. Retrieved from the internet on (give date here). http://www.indiana.edu/~wts/pamphlets/plagiarism.shtml
