Here is some not-so shocking news for those in the Electronics programs… the future for Electricians is “bright”! OR so says the US Government in their latest Occupational Outlook for Electricians.  Occupational Outlook is brought to us by the Bureau of Labor Statistics and it contains information on a number of professions.

The Occupational Outlook is a great place to check for information such as:

• Training Options
• Related Occupations
• Wages
• Nature of the Work

For example, under wages, the Occupational Outlook states that the average Electrician makes $22 an hour, with the range from $13-$38 an hour! WOW!
